How To Set a Timex Digital
We have probably all heard the famous slogan for Timex watches: "It takes a licking and keeps on ticking." The former Waterbury Clock Corporation was founded in 1854 and then became Timex Corporation in 1969. It is known today as Timex Group USA, Inc. The company originally produced inexpensive versions of European clocks. In the year 1887, the company started to experiment and in doing so, created the jumbo pocket watch, and eventually the company was manufacturing and selling inexpensive watches and other timepieces.
Now with today's technology, we have sleek digital watches of every color and description. In fact, most of Timex's modern watches are digital, with larger faces and easy to read number display. Some of the more advanced outdoor watches feature a compass, thermometer, barometer and tide tracker.
